Art class at The Louvre, Paris 2006
I was greatly impressed by a group of children diligently learning how to draw from one of the greatest collections of art in the world. They were all sitting on the floor in one of the ample galleries of The Louvre, in Paris. It made me think of the benefits involved in fostering a humanitarian spirit by instilling the love for art in young minds. And it made me sad to think of the children in my own country, forced as they are sometimes, to survive on meager rations of love and plenty of violence.
