Sahara Learning to Photograph, Cali 1989

In 1989 I took Sahara for a visit to my mother in Cali, Colombia. My father had died three years earlier and the old household had inevitably changed. This image remains from that trip and it shows my 8 year old daughter trying her hand at photographing my mother's young kitchen helper.
