At Rodin's extraordinary house and museum in Paris I was taken aback by the vision, for that is what it was, of someone looking strangely similar to Alfred Stieglitz, taking a self-portrait in company of one of his students. It seems as if old photographers can find spiritual solace in educating youngsters once the onset of age is upon them, us. This image proves it.
